Last week I brought you the news that Mirror Bingo were about to hold a huge charity event at their online bingo site in aid of the Children with Leukemia charity. A great time was had by all of their players that took part on the day and they managed to raise a fantastic £13,000, for this very worthwhile charity indeed.

TV celebs Linda Robinson and Fiona Phillips both dropped in at Mirror's online bingo site for a gossip with their players, but unfortunately Countdowns, Carol Vorderman could not make it as she got way laid filming, but she did promise to drop by on the next charity event that they will be holding at Mirror Bingo, which I have heard will not be too far away.

There was some hot gossip floating around the online bingo chat rooms when the Celebs were in, one of the players at Mirror Bingo, “Gammonqueen” asked Fiona Phillips “If she missed dancing after her performance on Strictly Come Dancing, and Fiona’s answer was “Never again!” Chat Host “Sqwerty” asked Linda Robinson, “Whether her hubby in real life was like the imprisoned one she was with, in Birds of a Feather?” Linda replied back “I could send him to jail…know the feeling girls?”!

The Mirror Bingo manager will be following up just how the £13,000 they raised at their online bingo site with the aid of their players and the celebs that joined them on the day, has helped the Children with Leukemia charity and just how this super donation made a difference this great cause. This great cash sum was made up of all of the Mirror Bingo's online profits for the day, plus contributions from Trinity Mirror and Foxy Bingo owners, Cashcade Ltd.

The Children with Leukemia Charity are the UK’s leading charity that is dedicated exclusively to fighting Britain’s biggest childhood cancer, Leukemia. TV Presenters Ant and Dec are heading the Children with Leukemia charities, current appeal to sponsor a child to attend their 21st great children’s party that will be taking place on Wednesday 2nd July. This children’s party is the largest annual event of its kind and for just £10 you can sponsor one child to attend this event and this can be done directly from the Children with Leukemia web site.
