So far Crown Bingo have raised a grand total of £2,589 for their choosen charities and this month they will be helping to support Children in Need with their online bingo charity night. BBC Children in need was set up back in 1980 and it was their aim to set aside one evening of TV dedicated to trying to raise as much cash as they can for charities working with children in the UK. To date this annual British appeal has raised approximately £470 million and 2007 was a record breaking year for them, as £37 million was raised last year alone.

Sir Terry Wogan has hosted the Children in Need TV event for many years and it is due to hit our screens once again on Friday 14th November.
