There seems to be a lot of charity fundraising taking place around some of the best UK online bingo sites at the moment with Crown Bingo also doing their part by holding monthly charity events at their bingo site, where their players even get to help decide the chosen charity for the month.

Crown Bingo have now raised well over £1,000 since the launch of their charity campaign just a few short months ago. As well as holding a charity night at their online bingo site in May for “Bliss” which is a premature baby charity, Crown Bingo also held a knit o thon, where their online bingo players joined in and knitted 40 cardigans which raised an extra £200 for this charity because not only did Crown Bingo donate a total of £224 from their usual 50% staked match, they also donated £5 to the bliss charity for every cardigan or knitted outfit they received from their bingo players.

In previous months they had also raised money for the Variety Club, Cancer research and St Oswalds Hospice. In the month of June with the aid of their online bingo players Crown Bingo will again be holing another charity event at their site.

The month of June is nationally the “Everyman Cancer Awareness” month, so in keeping with this, Crown Bingo will be supporting the Orchard Cancer awareness charity this month. The plight of this charity is to try and save men’s lives through pioneering research into this disease in men as well as trying to raise awareness about male cancers.

Online bingo players are able to help Crown Bingo to try and raise as much money as they can for this charity on 23rd June in their bingo room 2, between 7pm and 9pm. 50% of all the prize pool stakes between these hours will be donated by Crown Bingo to Orchard Cancer Awareness. If you play at their site throughout the day, players could also win one of “Orchards” checked out pins that will on offer on lots of their online bingo games.
