Alison Hammond only became the face of Crown Bingo on 1st October and she has already gone down a storm with their bingo players, it has even been known for Alison to log onto their site once or twice herself to play bingo and chat to the players in their chat rooms. Crown Bingo will be holding their monthly charity bingo night on 20th October, but they will be holding this one in honour of Alison Hammond and as such they will be supporting her chosen charity which is the “Teenage Cancer Trust”.

A few online bingo sites on the net have gone down the route of having celebrities front their online bingo sites, Gala Bingo has Sharon Osbourne and 888 Ladies Bingo have funny man Vic Reeves, now we see Big Brother star and This Morning TV host Alison Hammond become the face of Crown Bingo. When Foxy Bingo first kick started their online bingo campaign they did so with Jordan, aka Katie Price as the face of their site, but the “Fox” himself has since stepped into that role.

The lady herself Alison Hammond, had this to say about her chosen charity, “I support Teenage Cancer Trust mainly because a lot of teenage cancers go undiagnosed and are missed, so I wanted to highlight this in order for teenagers themselves to recognise signs and make parents more aware. I found my first session in the chat room very fast paced but so much fun. I didn't realise there were such nice people in the chat rooms. I'm really looking forward to the next one".

The teenage cancer trust are all about ensuring that teenagers with cancer get the best possible care there is out there for them in hospital and they also fund special units so that they can do things that other kids of their age are doing. These unit’s have chill out rooms, day rooms and gardens, which helps to make them feel at home, whilst getting they are undergoing treatment.

A spokesperson from the Teenage Cancer Trust said: "We're delighted that Alison Hammond is continuing to support Teenage Cancer Trust through our partnership with Crown Bingo. Alison has been involved with the charity since she helped to launch our appeal in Birmingham, where we are building a brand new unit for teenagers with cancer at the Children's Hospital. Her support, and that of Crown Bingo, will help Teenage Cancer Trust make a real difference to many of the teenagers and young people diagnosed with cancer every year."
