Are you going for real or fake? Cut or potted??
What colours you decorating it?

I'm having a 6ft real pine decoated in an old fashioned style.... candy canes, clear glass baubles, berries, toy solidiers, twig hearts, tiny white fairy lights and topped off with an angel! I put waaaaaay too much thought into my tree!!!!

doubt if you can decorate the fibre optic trees fi01 might stop the optics working.
My friend bought himself a new tree - in brown. I was a bit sceptical but with the gold decorations and red ribbons it looks really nice. It goes really well in their lounge which is reds, browns, rusts and oranges.
When my children were young the tree went up very early if it was artificial, and about 2 weeks before if it was real. As a child it was always a fresh one that Dad would bring home with him on Christmas Eve. Then he would go and pick Gran and Granddad up to spend Christmas with us and we would all trim the tree together.Happy Memories.

Yikes definately not Kay. and with a 5 month old puppy the taste of pine might just be too tempting lol. I remember when I friend of mine left their puppy in to go last minute Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve. When they got back the pup had got into the room with the Christmas Tree and all the presents beneath it. It was all the pups birthdays and Christmas's to be rolled into one. Every present was torn into looking for treats, the tree was pulled over, the choc novelties eaten off it (paper and all) then pup had a good chew at the pine branches starting at the top. How it wasn't electricuted I will never know. When they got back it had got tangled up in the fairy lights and was sat in the middle of all this chaos wagging its tail for all it was worth.
