make up a story (10 - 40 words each roughly)

Anyone fancy making up a story between us all ? we could use roughly 10 -40 words each, the shorter the words we use the funnier i think it will be......i'll start......erm...?................................ .................................................. ..........'BANG'....'BANG'....'BANG'....'BANG'!... ..'what on earth is that?'.......thought Karen, who had been in a very deep sleep lying in her comfy bed at 3 o'clock in the morning, when the strange noise had woken her ...............

she sat up in bed shaking trying to decide where the noise was coming from
bang........bang.........bang.......bang.........i t went again trying to think what would she do ! she was alone?.....................

.....'oh god it wasn't a dream!' she thought...'this is real!'....Karen's adrenalin was now pumping through her body, she felt her head was about to explode with the really fast pulsating in her neck from fear.............would she hide?...or..go downstairs and see?.........................?.................... .........

She crept down the stairs, steping over those she knew creaked. Terrified that she would be heard. The back door was open! She could feel her heart pumping and her tummy churned. She wanted to run and hide but somehow her legs kept moving. She walked with trepidation towards the open door. As her hand touched the door ......

..... she caught her breath... she stood frozen unable to move, her nostrils filled with the heavy scent of gardenias and jasmine, a perfume she had not smelt for many years.
Not daring to move, her eyes flickered around the darkened room trying to make out some sort of figure or catch some sort of movement. Her senses were heightened now in the dark, the sound of her shallow breaths, the thump of her heart in her ears, the feel of the cold slate floor on her bare feet startled her for a moment as she stepped outside into the porch. BANG BANG BANG...

And there in front of her menacing, with his arm held high above his head holding a large stone, was her boy-friend. He had left her house at 1am on his motor-bike. It had broken down a mile away. He pushed it back to her house and had been trying to fix it after getting no reply at her door. He now resorted to the age old man-response to things that don't work - hit it with something hard. She went and put the kettle on, Men what would you do with them!!!!
