Set a Limit for your Online Bingo Playing Time

When I logged on at Wink Bingo today as I normally do on a weekend for a few games of online bingo, I noticed a new little button in “my account” area of their site saying “self exclude”. This is a new feature that could of only been added on here in the last few days and when looking into it more, I discovered that all the online bingo sites that run on Globalcom software such as Foxy Bingo, 888 Ladies Bingo, Think Bingo etc, have all now had this feature added to their sites, but what exactly does “self exclude” mean? Read on as I will explain.

This new Self exclusion feature now gives you the option to be able to basically ban yourself from playing at an online bingo site for a set period of time. This however is not new to online bingo gaming as Jackpotjoy Bingo to name just one online bingo site, have had this option available to their players for some time, but it has never been so readily available or so easy to access for players as it is now.

Online bingo is enjoyed by millions of people from around the world and it should be a pleasurable pastime to par-take in, but for some it can become a problem, as we know after all we are all adults here. Online bingo sites are bound by law to provide a duty of care to their customers relating to this issue and I personally think that the new self exclude feature is a very good addition to have been added to all of the Globalcom sites.

When you now log onto any of the globalcom sites you are able to self exclude yourself for the following periods of time, should you feel that you to take some time out.

  1. 24 hour cooling off period
  2. One week cooling off period
  3. One month self exclusion
  4. Six months self exclusion
  5. Close my account indefinitely

To be able to do this you just need to click “self exclude” in my account area of any of the above sites and then pick the self exclusion period you feel you need, but remember once you click submit, there is no going back and you will not be able to play at the relevant online bingo sites for the period of time you have selected. If the online bingo site you are playing at has a forum attached to it, then this will also be closed during your-self exclusion period. You are also able to self exclude yourself from any other online bingo site, by sending them an email, but as to just how stringent their procedures are will be down to the individual sites.

We support responsible gaming whole heartily at unlucky for some and we also provide you with a direct link to “Gamble Aware” at the bottom of our site, this is a very responsible website and it gives you a very realistic view on all aspects of gaming, so please use it.
