Each month Mirror Bingo run a “Bingo Buddy of the Month” award at their site and just from sending in their online bingo stories, players can win a super £500 cash, plus get their story printed at their bingo site. “JamesRose” was their latest winner of this great award and she told them her really heartfelt story of how Mirror Bingo online helped her deal with her own personal tragedy in her life.

Julie, aka Jamerose, lost her husband, who was only 40 years old to cancer in February this year, he leaves behind 4 children. This is Julie’s story -

“From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to thank all the amazing friends I made in the Mirror Bingo chat rooms for keeping me going when the chips were down. I played bingo to take my mind of my sadness,” says Julie. “With four children at home and a very poorly husband, I couldn’t get out much so it was to my roomie mates I turned for comfort and support. With people like Momann and Chat Host Terri, I felt there was always someone kind to talk to… Even during the night when I couldn’t sleep for worrying. I don’t think I’d have coped without them all.”

Mirror Bingo also said that, “Julie looked after James at home until two days before he passed away. Within hours of losing him, Julie logged in to the Mirror bingo chat room.” This is what she said, “It was 7am. I just typed in: ‘He’s gone.’ And I was overwhelmed with kind messages of condolence and support. One roomie even offered to help me with the funeral…and I’d never even met her face-to-face. That is the sort of people Mirror players are…wonderful.”
