Have any of you ever heard about the Granville method of playing bingo? And how Joseph E Granville believes he came up with a method for bingo players to increase their chances of winning whilst playing the online bingo game, which is normally said to be all about chance and luck? The mathematician and stock market analyst (Joe) Granville as he likes to be called studied the game of bingo for many years and it has been said that he came up with a proven bingo strategy that 1 in 10 bingo players are probably not aware off. Joe Granville undertook years of painstaking research into the game of 75 ball bingo before making public his predictions on the game. All of us bingo players know that the game of 75 ball bingo contains a maximum of 75 bingo calls, it’s not really rocket science to work that out now is it, but it is the probability of what numbers are called out first is where Joe’s methods come into play. In Joe’s strategy he believes that he cracked the code, mathematically speaking where you can increase your chances of winning a game of bingo, which predominantly speaking is all about the luck of the draw, as to what bingo balls are called and therefore marked of your bingo card. The probability of the first ball being called in the game of bingo is equal to any of the numbers contained within the bingo board numbers 1 – 75, but now here is where it gets interesting. When probabilities are equal, this is called a uniformed distribution and this can in turn fall into predictable patterns which are governed by the laws of probability. This is where Joe came up with the answer to transforming an otherwise hopeless strategy into a series of systematic answers, which could determine the best bingo cards for you to pick, that could give you the best chance of winning the game of bingo itself. Joe performed a randomness test on the probability of how the bingo numbers are drawn out and he came up with this. There must be an equal number of numbers ending in 1's, 2's, 3's, 4's - Odd and even numbers tend to balance. - High and low numbers must tend to balance. The above tests are tests of randomness and unless the distribution of bingo calls meets these tests, then it is said that the distribution is bias and not random at all, so all bingo calling distributors must meets these standards. When you next play 75 ball bingo online, according to Joe’s methods, it is well worth watching what the first 10 numbers that are called on the master call board are, because in most instances you will notice that the ending numbers on the first 10 numbers out will all have different ending numbers from each other, therefore in choosing a bingo card that has lots of different ending numbers, your chances of winning will increase, even if you only purchase a few bingo cards each time you play bingo. An example of this is - if the first number drawn out on the call board was G 53 then the probability of the of the second being number that is draw out ending in the number 3 is increased, if the next number drawn out was N 34, then the probability that the next number to come out ending in the numbers 3 and 4 once again is increased and so on. The first 10 numbers called out in any bingo game clearly favour’s different number endings and this is how Joe came up with his strategy to increase your chances of winning whilst playing bingo. As to whether this method actually works or not I could not personally say, it has been said that some people stand by this strategy whole heartedly, me I just like to play online bingo and have fun, but other’s do take the game a bit more seriously, so putting Joe’s methods to the test might just work out in your favour, who knows! To do my research properly into this theory, I did however decide to test out Joe’s strategy myself and I could not believe that it actually seemed to work, I played a 10p game on the letter (N) in 75 ball bingo, the first 10 numbers to be called out were as follows - 12 67 68 22 75 53 37 2 41, twenty three players were in the game of bingo at the time and on 10p games I would normally buy 12 bingo cards at a cost of £1,20 and take my chances, but this time I purchase just 3 cards at a cost of 30p, looked for cards that all had completely different ending numbers on them and would you believe it I actually won the bingo game, but was this just the luck of the draw, I really don’t know! The next online bingo game I played was the letter (K), there were 15 players in this game and the first 10 numbers drawn out were as follows - 20 31 74 44 13 8 51 56 42 16, once again I tried to pick bingo tickets that had the most different ending bingo numbers, I did not win this game, but I did only need one number to win. On this note, I will leave it up to you as to whether you are going to test out Joseph Granville’s strategy or not! |
