It was brought to my attention that 888 Ladies Bingo took the decision to increase their max purchase bingo tickets from 24 to 48. My first thought was.......”is this a good move for their online bingo players”? My initial answer to that question was no, I don’t think that this was in the interests of their online bingo players, some may beg to differ however. The 48 max buy tickets were increased in the funded only bingo rooms at 888 Ladies Bingo and all of their pre-purchase guaranteed jackpot bingo rooms.  

If you are a player at 888 Ladies Bingo what do you think about the increased max purchase tickets in their bingo rooms? Do you feel that they should have implemented this in all their pre-purchase big money guaranteed bingo rooms? Which in reflection means that you could now be competing against players that have 48 max bingo tickets instead of 24. Some players love to max buy, some don’t or simply cannot afford too, which takes me back to "was this a good move for their online bingo players"?

The game of bingo has always been a game of luck and chance, but when you start to see things like this introduced by an online bingo site, it does somewhat take away the (luck – chance) element out of the game. Like all sites are so fond of saying – the more tickets you have the more chance you have of winning, so where does that leave a player that has say 2 bingo tickets in a game to a player that has 48?

The law of averages says that the players that can max purchase 48 tickets would be a lot more likely to win the game of bingo than a player that only has one or two tickets. And yes we have seen players win bingo from only having a couple of tickets, but just how often is this the case? Bring back the fairness to all that play bingo is what I say!

888 Holdings (Owners of 888 Ladies Bingo) own Globalcom bingo software, which is used by a fair few of the top UK bingo sites on the net, so I only hope that this increased max bingo ticket purchase does not filter down to other bingo sites that use this bingo platform.

As a whole 888 Ladies Bingo are a very good bingo site on the net to play at, they have lots to offer bingo players in other areas of their site including some great promos and the best welcome package around, it just seems a shame that they choose to go down this route.
