Winning more than £34,000 on the National Bingo Game has enabled a lucky grandmother to be able to go and visit her daughter who lives in France. It has been reported that the luck lady who comes from London, could not stop crying when she realized just how much she had won, when playing bingo at her local Mecca Bingo club in Eltham Hill, London.
The 72 year old lucky grandmother comes from Mottingham which in south east London. This is her quote about her great bingo win: “It’s really going to change my life and I couldn’t thank bingo enough if I tried. Now we’ve got the money we can say, Yes, I can have this’ or ‘Yes, I can do that’ without even thinking about it. It’s lovely.”
The lady’s lucky bingo numbers came up when she was playing at Mecca Bingo on 5th April and this is how her prize money was made up, as they say all good things come in threes and that is exactly what happens to you when you win on the National Bingo game, you have three great wins all rolled into one. First the gran won £32,800 on the National Bingo game itself, plus she took away the regional prize of £2,061 and the Mecca Bingo in house prize of a very nice £115! Completing the full house on the National Bingo game in just 39 calls, is what scooped this lucky lady her massive bingo win!
She also went on to say that “she never expected it in a million years that she would win such a huge bingo prize. Most big bingo winners do tend to go into slight shock, when it happens to them and it took playing bingo for 36 years plus, for this lucky lady to hit it big. The lady is married with four children and seven grandchildren and still works part time as a clerical worker, which is a job she says she enjoys.
The gran also intends to treat all the family with her win, as well as buying a new settee, along with her trip to visit her daughter, who lives in France. There goes another very happy bingo winner, thanks to Mecca Bingo and the National Bingo game!
