You have heard about the 64 year old lady from didcot who won £390,000 on the National Bingo Games Platinum Jackpot on Sunday night. This was the other lucky winner of this amazing bingo game as they both shared the bingo jackpot prize that stood over £700,000 on Sunday night.
The lucky lady who is originally from the Philippines, was playing at here local Beacon Bingo Club in Criklewood when her numbers came up and she is now planning to give something back to her home town by refurbishing a Church in the village there. What a nice thing to do!
The 55 year old woman has only been a player at the Beacon Bingo Club since 1999 and she now likes to go there and have a game of bingo three times a week, she is soon to be married to a retired doctor and has adopted three children. Giving seems to be what this lady does best and in her quote in her own words which you can read underneath, she says she can now help a lot of people and this is all thanks to her massive win on the National Bingo Platinum Jackpot game.
The lucky ladies quote - “I am a British citizen and have lived in the UK since 1996,” she said. “I work at various jobs, including cleaning, caring and baby-sitting and apart from paying my rent and buying food, I have been sending money every month to my family of nine in the Philippines. I have really just been living from day to day but this win has changed my life. I didn’t sleep at all Sunday night thinking what I could do with it. It is a blessing for me and I can help a lot of people.”
Inderjeet Singh who is the assistant manager at the Beacon Bingo club had this to say about this great Jackpot win at their club, “She didn’t know how much she had won at first. I announced it gradually; first the house prize of £1,100, then the Regional prize of £1,664, the National Game prize of £40,000 and finally half of the Platinum Jackpot play-off prize, £350,104. By that time, the 2,300 people in the club were all standing, clapping and cheering. The atmosphere was amazing. We were so busy that night; at one stage we had to close the doors because there were too many people in the foyer but they all got in eventually. We paid out £62,500 in total on all our club games and there was £10,000 on offer on two link games, which we didn’t win that time.”
It is really great to hear that a Bingo Hall was so busy it had to close its doors, let’s hope that land based bingo is on the fight back, Remember on the last Sunday of every month there will be a National Bingo Game Platinum Play Off, where this Huge cash prize will be won on that night.
