A brand new car and a holiday to Fuerteventura is now on the cards for a lucky lady from Welwyn Garden City after she won a cool £32,000 whilst playing bingo at her local Gala Bingo in Shenley Road, Borehamwood.

The 50 year old woman has only been a member at her local Gala Bingo for the past two years, but has now been playing the game of bingo for at least 10 years now and normally frequents her Gala Bingo, two times week with her daughter, who was also with her on the night of her big £32,000 bingo win.

This is how the shocked lady’s total winnings for a night out of Gala Bingo were made up: To start with she won the National Bingo Game prize of a fab £30,250, and as we all know it is not just the National Game Prize you win when you hit this great jackpot, so they lucky lady also walked off with the Regional prize of £2,530 and the house prize of £150. This was all made possible because she completed a full house in just 40 calls on this great bingo game, which was the lowest amount of calls throughout all the bingo clubs that participate in this game.

“I was gobsmacked to win,” said the woman, “Everyone in the club was clapping and saying ‘well done’ but I just sat there in a daze.”

The lady has four children of her own and two grandchildren and as well as planning to take her whole family on holiday to Fuerteventura, this is what she had to say about her great win: “I’m also going to buy a brand new car, hopefully an Astra, because I’ve never been able to afford one before. My mum bought my last car for me and my daughter is going to have it now. Other than the car and the holiday, I don’t know what else I’m going to do with it yet. The kids are probably thinking about how I can spend it more than me!”
