We recently reported how lucky Soraya Lowell has just made history by having the largest ever bingo win of £1.2 million pounds whilst playing at her local bingo hall, Club 3000 on Sunday Night.
A nice twist has also come to light from this biggest ever bingo win, which is Soraya, will be sharing half of her winnings with her bingo friend and neighbour Agnes O’Neil.
After this unbelievable bingo win the bingo loving pair were back at their local Club 3000 bingo hall on Monday night, where their luck continued and Agnes had a very nice bingo win of £200. Although this does not even come close to the £500,000 +, that the two lucky ladies won each the night before by sharing the £1.2 million pound win, it just goes to show you if lady luck is on your side you really could win, win, win!
This huge cash injection into Agnes O’Neil’s life has been a very welcomed one, and she is still sadly mourning the death of her son Jeff, who died at a young age of (45) just a few short months ago. Here is a quote from Agnes in her own words: "I have had a rough time the last three years - I have been very ill and Soraya has cared for me which meant my husband did not have to retire early. She has been wonderful to me. What she has done for me is absolutely something else. I have two girls and I had two sons, Jeff died just eight weeks ago. I have five grandchildren and four great grandchildren with another one on the way. So that will come as some happy news for the family.”
Neither of the two lucky ladies have any immediate plans on what they are going to be splashing their cash on yet, Agnes, even joked that she will still be keeping her pension. The shock of winning this huge cash sum, has probably not quite sunk in yet, but I am sure both ladies will put this money to good use in the months ahead.
On the evening of their win Soraya paid just £12 for her bingo ticket and had this to say when she called house on number (90) on the National Platinum Jackpot game: “I thought I had won the national bingo game club house prize at first which was £470. When I got home we celebrated with friends and neighbours until 6am the following day. Agnes and I always share whatever either of us wins and this time will be no different.”
This really is a great winning bingo story and it was very good to see that another bingo player has stuck by their word and shared their winnings with their friend and fellow bingo player, no matter how large their bingo win was, which we all know was a cool £1.2 Million!
