Play Mecca Bingo The staff at Mecca Bingo are getting involved with helping to raise money for the Whizz Kidz Charity in more ways than one as they will be taking part in simultaneous sponsored sky dive jumps up and down the country in September to try and raise as much cash as they can for this great charity that is nearly 100% reliant on donations to keep going. Mecca Bingo is on a huge charity drive at the moment and they have pledge to raise at least £250,000 for Whizz Kids by the end of this year.

They are well on their way to hitting this target as it has been reported that they have already gone over the 100,000 mark. The staff at Mecca Bingo, seem to be right behind them all the way and you can tell this by how very supportive they have been and by the lengths that they are going to help them raise as much money as they possibly can. We have already seen staff at the Mecca Bingo Club in Exeter go on sponsored diets where they even have their weigh-ins done in front of their bingo players each week. You could not get a better incentive than that could you to make you stick to your diet, being weighed in front of lots of people is enough to make sure you didn’t fall of the band wagon, so to speak.

Simon Gibb, Anna Mason, Kayleigh Greener and Carol Scott, from the Mecca Bingo club in Blyth along with lots of other Mecca Bingo staff up and down the country will simultaneously carry out sponsored sky dive jumps to raise money for children's mobility charity Whizz Kidz.

Anna Mason said, “This latest challenge was the most exciting and nerve wracking fundraising event the team had ever done. Everyone has been so generous with their donations," she said. "But I would urge anyone who hasn't already donated to dig deep. After all, it's not every day we offer to throw ourselves out of a plane!"

Mike Travis and Paul Kay from the Mecca Bingo club in Talbot Road, Blackpool will also be sky diving for Whizz Kidz. Mike had this to say, "We've been holding a number of fund raising events over the past months and this is probably one of the most exciting and certainly the most nerve-racking. Colleagues, club members, friends and family have all been extremely generous so far with their donations.”

This has got to be one of the biggest charity drives any bingo club has ever undertaken and with such great support from their staff and bingo players, I am sure that they will hit the target they are looking to achieve.
