Ladbrokes Bingo are all set to launch a new 2 million pound advertising campaign to help promote their online bingo site in April. Ladbrokes were the first bookmakers in the UK to advertise on television and this was largely down to the relaxation last year of the gambling advertising laws that were placed on gaming companies and what they were allowed to advertise on the TV.

Advertising their wares on the TV proved to be very successful for Ladbrokes and it helped them on their way to become one of the fastest growing gambling sites on the internet.  The £5 million pound campaign that advertised their betting shops, saw footballers like Ian Wright and Lee Dixon as the face of Ladbrokes on the TV and this went a long way in helping Ladbrokes achieve a big increase on the football markets during 2007. Ladbrokes have posted a 30% increase in net revenues to £1.23 billion, plus an increase in operating profits to £420 million, so it is no wonder their advertising campaign is set to continue.

Ladbrokes Chief Executive, Chris Bell, has been quoted as saying that "The removal of restrictions on TV advertising enables us to compete more effectively with other leisure industries and we were keen to be the first to take advantage of it. Tomorrow we run another campaign for Ladbrokes Bingo and in April launch our first campaign for Ladbrokes Casino."

The discerning casino player can play a variety of casino, poker and backgammon games at Ladbrokes website, plus place bets on a whole host of sporting events and they also have a special section dedicated to online bingo. In the bingo section of their website they have a “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” bingo room and this is based on the famous TV show and you will even find Chris Tarrant as the bingo caller here. It is possible to win one million pounds from playing this online bingo game. Ladbrokes Bingo offers their customers the whole online package and they always seem to strive to bring lots of fun and entertainment for all that frequent their online bingo site. So to this end it is no wonder that 2007 proved to be a good year for Ladbrokes and this also seems to carrying over to 2008 as well.

Get ready for their new advertising campaign to hit your TV screens in the very near future!
