The chosen charity for Gala Bingo is the Sue Ryder Care charity and it is their aim to raise over a staggering £1 million pounds for them over the next 18 months. The staff at Gala Bingo have already been busy behind the scenes setting up fund raising events for this charity and they are now asking for the support of their members, where they can join in all the online bingo fun at Gala Bingo to help them to help others who really need it the most.
Fifty years ago the first every Sue Ryder Care charity shop opened up on our high streets and throughout July and August they have been celebrating this milestone. The Sue Ryder Care charity provides much needed support to people that are living with serious life threatening conditions like cancer and Parkinson’s disease, they also help support the loved ones and families to. Their founder “Sue Ryder” was an exceptional lady in the 20th century and she dedicated her life to help relief the suffering of others and her work still continues today through this great charity that was set up in her name.
