A lucky pensioner from Clacton On Sea has just won £41,000, whilst playing The National Bingo game at her local Gala Bingo in pier avenue. Although the lady asked to remain anonymous, she has stated to the national gaming body, that she will be sticking to her agreement she made with her friend, who was also with her when she won, and will be sharing this huge cash prize with her.
After recently reporting about three sisters being at loggerheads over a big bingo win, with two of them taking the other one to court because she went back on their agreement and refused to share her bingo win with them, it is nice to see that packs made in the bingo halls are honored by some players. Maybe the sister that refused to share should take a leaf out of this ladies book!
The 62 year old lady won this fantastic cash prize on Monday whilst playing at Gala Bingo, she has been playing bingo for more than 32 years and normally plays bingo here with her friend at least a couple of times a week. She is married with two children of her own and also has one grandchild. Both ladies are said to be absolutely over the moon with their fantastic bingo win and here is a quote from the lucky lady herself.
“I’m gob smacked,” said the winner, “I don’t want to make any rash decisions while I’m still so shocked so I’ll wait until I get the cheque before I decide what I’m going to do with the money.”
