A Student Nurse is absolutely over the moon after winning over £11,000 when playing bingo at her local Carlton Bingo club in Almondvale on the National Bingo Game!
Lucky 33 Year old Cindy Geary had made an agreement with her sister in law that any money they won between them that they would share, and I am happy to report that Cindy will be sticking to her side of the agreement and sharing her £11,000 winnings. Often you hear about these agreements being made only for the party that had won the money has gone back on it, but thankfully this is not the case here.
The Sunday afternoon bingo session certainly proved to be very lucky for Cindy and her sister in law and they were playing bingo together when lady luck shone their way. Cindy walked away with the National Bingo Prize of £10,270, plus the regional Prize of £1,067, plus the clubs house prize which was £58 and this gave her total winnings for an afternoon playing bingo of over £11,000! Calling on the National Bingo game in 44 numbers is what won Cindy this great cash prize.
Being a Student Nurse at the Napier University and a mother of two children aged 10 and seven, I am sure that this money is going to come in extremely useful for Cindy and her family. Cindy’s once a week trip to her local bingo hall has really paid off for her now. Here is what the lucky lady herself had to say about her fab win –
“I cried when it was announced I had won and a big roar went up from everybody in the club,” said Cindy, “I’m absolutely delighted. You always think something like this happens to somebody else but it really can happen to you,” she added.
Cindy is also planning a holiday in the sun for 2009 for her and family and also treating her mum and sister from her winnings.
Every day in both the afternoon and evening sessions, these National Bingo Game winners just keep on growing and one thing’s for sure when you play the National Bingo Game, these massive prizes will be, but in what part of the UK the next winner will spring from, we all just have to wait and see!
