Thanks to Gala Bingo and the National Bingo game, another lucky bingo player will now be pondering the question, What will I do with the money? I could think of a few things I could do with £69,000, off the top of my head a fabulous shopping trip and a once in a lifetime trip to Florida spring to mind to name just a few, but the question is what will this 69 year old lady from Eastwood going to do with it? What a great position to be in.
So for this very lucky lady, playing bingo from more than thirty years as finally come back and paid off for her in buckets full, her total winnings for a night out at the bingo were a fantastic £65,780 which included the national prize the regional prize of £3,117 and the Gala Bingo Club house money, which was a very nice £200! 41 numbers was the call that the 69 year old lady won this National Bingo Prize on, and the Gala Bingo club in Rotherham certainly proved too be very lucky for her.
Before retiring the lady had worked as a clerk for many years and she has two children and 3 grandchildren, who I am sure, are in for a few treats now. She likes to have a game of bingo at least two times a week, which are generally Wednesday and Saturday nights. Here is what the lady had to say about her fabulous win - “I was extremely shocked when they announced how much I had won despite playing bingo for so long. I never thought I would ever win the National Bingo Game. I still need to let it sink in and then I can think about what to do with the money. My husband is over the moon,” she added.
If I find out what the lady is going to be spending her winnings on, I will be sure to let you know, but whatever she decides to do, I hope that it brings happiness into hers and her family’s lives.
