The changing face of bingo has resulted in an alliance between the Rank organisation gambling entities and dotMailer. The Rank properties include Mecca Bingo, Mecca Bingo Online, Grosvenor Casinos and G Casino Brands. dotMailer is an email advertising organisation that is working with Rank on a digital advertising program.
These email campaigns will target local customers in various markets and will allow the casinos and bingo clubs to engage in dialogues with the targeted customers. dotMailer has the software and the mechanism to track customers and to yield a variety of reports about the success of these campaigns. The software also allows for information about the return on investment for the email campaign so the manager knows if they are finding the right segments or if they are just wasting time.
This software routine is called the Conversion Tracking Suite. The user friendly dotMailer software allows the different managers to obtain various results in chart and graphical form and to monitor the progress of the email campaign. The information can also be retained for future campaigns.
The Rank gambling entities are targeting different market segments trying to increase their market share. They are currently one of the biggest gambling companies in the UK and also run the Top Rank Espana bingo clubs in Spain and have operations in Belgium. They are the current sponsors of the Grosvenor Poker Tour, the largest in the UK. The email campaigns will be regional in basis as the Rank properties look to find new customers in their existing markets and also develop new markets.
Rank is a London Stock Exchange listed group. As such they are not active in the United States market since the enactment of UIGEA in 2006.
